Japan Scott 355

One of these stamps is a genuine Japan Scott 355 and the other is a forgery. Can you tell the difference?

  1. Genuine: Has shading line in the upper part of the mountain — below the snow. The white petals of the chrysanthemum are open.
  2. Forgery: The shading lines are merged together in a mostly solid color. The white petals are filled in.
