Guatemala Scott 7, 1875 Liberty Issue

One of these stamps is a genuine Guatemala Scott 7 and the other is a forgery. Can you tell the difference?
If you are having trouble, see the "hints" and answer below.

  1. On the genuine stamp the crossbar in the “A”s are clearly visible. Engraved, perf 12.
  2. On the forgery stamp the “A”s lack the crossbars and it is lithographed. The perf is 12 ½ or 13.
